The Top Five ‘How to Cancels’

Updated: Jun 15, 2023

Here at Little Birdie, we’re always searching for how to help you save cash. One of the top Google searches regarding subscriptions is “How to Cancel…”

We’ve taken a look at these results* and summarised the top 5, below. Kind of like the Oscars, but with less drama:

  1. “How to cancel a subscription from Apple” comes in at top spot. As with Google Play (coming right up) the tech giants’ app marketplaces are good ways of subscribing to services such as Spotify as it’s really easy to cancel. Take a look at the easiest way to cancel on the App Store.

  2. “Cancel, Pause or change a Subscription on Google Play” notches up second place. Like the App Store, Google makes it pretty easy just to switch off subscriptions. Here’s all you need to know.

  3. “How to cancel Amazon Prime” comes in at number 3. Simply head over to Amazon’s easy cancellation page, here, to change your subscription settings. We have to say, however, that a Prime subscription appears to be really great value.

  4. “How to cancel NowTV '' ends up just outside the top 3, but still places respectably. Sky’s decently priced Pay-As-You-Go TV package is a hit among UK customers, although numbers of all streaming services have recently been reported to have declined as households cut back on non-essential spending. Wanna cancel NowTV? Here’s how.

  5. “Cancel your Microsoft Subscription” finishes our top five. This is split down into two options, Microsoft 365 (for example Word and Excel) and Xbox. Your manager may not be happy with you removing your Teams meetings, but if you have to cancel then here is how to do it. You’ll also be able to cancel your Xbox Live subscription here. Although with Somerville, Starfield and Redfall all coming up in 2022, why would you want to?

As always, if you want to hand over all your subscription worries to your very own subscription concierge, head over to the App Store or Google Play and download Little Birdie. We’ll sort it all for you and make sure you’re getting the best possible deals on the ones you want to keep. And, because we’re totally free, we’re sure you won’t want to cancel!
